  • 8 slices bread
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup honey

  • Powdered Sugar
  • Syrup

*garnishings optional

  1. Pre-heat your oven to 400 F.
  2. Start by whisking together all your filing ingredients. Then set aside.

3. Roll out your bread with a rolling pin or jar until very flat.

4. Then scoop about one scoop full of filling in the middle of the bread.

5. Place another slice of bread over that. Then use a wide jar cap and cut out a circle around the filling.

6. Once it’s cut out into a circle, use a fork to seal the sides on the top and bottom of the pocket. Repeat steps 4-6 until all pockets are complete.

7. Then whisk together your egg, milk and vanilla. Dip the pockets in flipping both sides until they are fully covered.

8. Then bake for 15-20 minutes. Once baked, let cool and garnish.
