French Toast Filled Pockets
This morning we were craving something sweet, but still needed to eat breakfast. That’s why we chose French Toast Filled Pockets! Once you bite into the crunchy layer, your mouth gets a whole bunch of ooey gooey goodness.
Ingredients:
Pockets
- 8 slices bread
- 2 tbsp milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
Filling
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup honey
Garnishings
- Powdered Sugar
- Syrup

- Pre-heat your oven to 400 F.
- Start by whisking together all your filing ingredients. Then set aside.
3. Roll out your bread with a rolling pin or jar until very flat.
4. Then scoop about one scoop full of filling in the middle of the bread.
5. Place another slice of bread over that. Then use a wide jar cap and cut out a circle around the filling.
6. Once it’s cut out into a circle, use a fork to seal the sides on the top and bottom of the pocket. Repeat steps 4-6 until all pockets are complete.
7. Then whisk together your egg, milk and vanilla. Dip the pockets in flipping both sides until they are fully covered.
8. Then bake for 15-20 minutes. Once baked, let cool and garnish.
