Classic Pound Cake

Today we made a classic treat that surely everyone has tried. If not, it’s about time!   • 4 cups flour
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups butter, softened (4 sticks)
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 325 F. Then add flour, sugar, butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract into your stand mixer. Begin to beat on low, then continue to increase speed to medium. 
  2. Once mixed, pour into either a greased bundt pan or 10-inch tube pan.  (Angel Food Cake pan)
  3. Bake for 1 hour 30 minutes. Once baked, remove and let cool for about 1 hour. Dust with powdered sugar. (Optional)
